Prepared for what? I'm the only one here in the city with a bloody owl! We're not in the world where every witch or wizard uses an owl to communicate. So unless someone else pops up who is from the same world as Draco, you're fine. You know, the only other person who has had a legit issues with Bronte was your kid cousin, Xiaolang. Is everyone in your family so distrusting?

We are not distrusting. But that is not the point. The point is we are not in this wizard world of yours. Stop thinking about this so personally. I am not objecting to Bronte or you. I am objecting to the method of communication. In the hands of an unscrupulous person, an owl able to find a person's home could be very dangerous. What if the person does not want anyone to know where they live? All it would take is an owl and a way to track the owl.
