If you want, we can maybe look into doing something else for Christmas, instead? If dinner is off the table-- so to speak-- there's still other places we can go. Maybe a movie? I think those are open during the holidays, anyway. [Not that he's too thrilled about that option...]
Or... my guardian takes me stargazing every so often, so there's that, if you wouldn't mind it. I had planned for him to come to dim sum with us too, so you would have met him either way. [Not that he knows that Leon already made plans to do that with Anya later this month, or that Leon and Li-Na have already met??? but STILL]
Hmmmm, it is hard to talk to people
during a movie though...
But stargazing sounds interesting! I
love going to the planetarium at the Space Museum with my brother. They had
a show about auroras this year that I saw back in February. And I would
like to meet your guardian sometime.
[ngl, when Li-Na realizes Leon is also related to Xiaolang, she's
just going to not even mention it to Xiaolang, so she can walk in all "Hi
Leon, nice to see you again"]
[He's going to be so betrayed when he finds out what a huge troll Li-Na is, CRIES-- but too bad she can't see him on his side of the screen, because he all but perks up at the mention of the Space Museum.]
I do too! One of my tutors used to take me there some afternoons, back when I was still in Hong Kong, and I got to see the Stories of the Solar Eclipse show! I wish I could have seen the one about the auroras, though... the planetarium here is alright, but I like the facilities in the one back home better.
[But he sobers quickly at the last line of her message, remembering the other unfortunate event of the day.]
... anyway, as for my guardian, it's possible you may run into him sooner than you think. He just received the app today himself.
[No one realizes what a troll she is... until it's far too late. Her brother still has no idea where she gets it from.]
Really? I am sorry. You are probably worried for him. Although, it is good you have an adult someone nearby who will understand when weird things happen.
