I guess we can go for the experience, if anything? I think it's been so long since any of us have been to dim sum, that just being there and seeing everything might be good enough. At the very least, we won't have to worry about grabbing dishes we might not like if it'll all taste the same, anyway. Not that it's much of a help, but...
If you want, we can maybe look into doing something else for Christmas, instead? If dinner is off the table-- so to speak-- there's still other places we can go. Maybe a movie? I think those are open during the holidays, anyway. [Not that he's too thrilled about that option...]
Or... my guardian takes me stargazing every so often, so there's that, if you wouldn't mind it. I had planned for him to come to dim sum with us too, so you would have met him either way. [Not that he knows that Leon already made plans to do that with Anya later this month, or that Leon and Li-Na have already met??? but STILL]

a show about auroras this year that I saw back in February. And I would
like to meet your guardian sometime.

I do too! One of my tutors used to take me there some afternoons, back when I was still in Hong Kong, and I got to see the Stories of the Solar Eclipse show! I wish I could have seen the one about the auroras, though... the planetarium here is alright, but I like the facilities in the one back home better.

... anyway, as for my guardian, it's possible you may run into him sooner than you think. He just received the app today himself.
